Spring Has Arrived! |
| |
Clara Mill Designs has been hard at work creating a new color line of necklaces for True Children’s Home. With
four colors to choose from: warm pink, cool blue, natural green and dark earth, you can find a gift for any occasion
(or even to celebrate yourself!) As with the previous collection, each necklace is custom made and hand painted with
the word “True” etched on the back, a forever reminder of the giving spirit of True Children’s Home and its many
generous donors.

|
| |
These necklaces are the perfect gift for mom, the graduate, teachers, or anyone special in your life. To purchase,
contact www.claramilldesigns.com. A portion of the proceeds from each purchase will be donated to True
Children’s Home—making a difference in the lives of children! |

School in Hong Kong spent the day with the children and foster mothers playing games, blowing and chasing bubbles,
making crafts and celebrating two birthdays. The children also enjoyed a few rides in the park before the end of the
day. |

QSI Dongguan Hosts Silent Auction to
Benefit True Children’s Home
Students, families and staff at QSI Dongguan, gathered
for fun and bidding at a Silent Auction fundraiser.
Their goal of raising enough funds to sponsor
surgeries for two children was exceeded. With the
energy and dedication of the staff and families they
raised funds to sponsor three children’s surgeries!
Thank you QSI Dongguan for making a difference in
the lives of these children. You are True Heroes!

Thriving in Denmark
The staff at True Children’s Home likes to stay in contact with the adoptive families of children who have been cared for at True Children’s Home. There was one child, Jun |
|
|
Lin, who was adopted in July 2007 that we were unable to locate until a chance meeting between his adoptive parents and another TCH adoptive family. A posting on the internet brought two TCH families together and prov-ided the contact for Jun Lin (Albert) and his family in Denmark.
Jun Lin’s family reports that he is a cute boy with brown eyes and a cute nose. They are excited to have made a connection with other adoptive families of TCH children through ApaTCHina. |

| Adoptive Parents of Alumni of True Children’s Home-China, an online group exclusive to families who have adopted, or
have a referral for, a child who spent time at TCH. We hope to grow into a positive, supportive community that will foster
relationships with the families of TCH’s “brothers and sisters,” while discussing travel, continuing medical care at home
and general China adoption topics. We would also like to find ways to help TCH with fundraising. If you have a picture
of your child on a “boppy pillow”, your child might be a TCH alumni! |
