Miah

Dear Friends,

We are all so blessed! Miah (pictured right) is doing really, really well. Not sure if we have updated you in the past so to make sure we cover everything, we'll rewind back to when we saw you in China. At that point, Miah was pretty much tolerant of being with her Dad, but wasn't particularly keen on anyone else. We flew to Beijing shortly after and during our time there, Miah really started bonding with Angelina - they started really interacting and playing together. Once we got home, Miah took pretty much everything in her stride - seemed quite happy to be here. Also, as Daddy went back to work, Mummy became the new "favorite". The main challenge we were all running into was around sleep. Miah really wasn't a big fan of going to bed...it took her forever to get to sleep and when she did sleep, she was often awake crying 4 or 5 times through the night. So, she was often tired through the day - and so were we! She settled down a lot once we moved her crib right alongside Angelina's bed. Now though she's just fine.

Blessings,

Miah and her family

Maddie (Ai Pian)

Maddie was cared for at True Children's
Home prior to her adoption. Upon their return to the US, Maddie's family decided to sponsor a child at TCH. They chose Ai Li as she was born in November - the same birth month as Maddie. Shortly thereafter Ai Li was matched
with a family for adoption - a family from the same neighborhood as Maddie! What a joy that these two girls from China will be reunited.

Ming Hui

Dear Friends,

It has been a little over a year ago since we came
home with our little Ming Hui. The time flies which
we can notice in how much our little son grows. He
is wonderful! So sweet, happy and intelligent. He is well above the average development and growth curve.

The teachers at our day care center are so surprised at his energetic, positive and cheerful personality which affects both children and staff.

I can't tell you how fortunate we are to have him. We are the proudest parents "in the World!" And we have to tell you that we think about you so many times and how fortunate our son was to have been at Anji. When we see and hear about many other adopted children it's so sad that they are not all so healthy and well-developed as our little "prince" was when we got him. We are so grateful.

Our warmest regards to all of you from Ming Hui's
family!
